I spent five hellish years in a constant state of fear, convinced that we were only a heartbeat away from being destroyed by a larger pack of shape shifters.
Just when it looked like we'd won, an even bigger group of thugs stepped in, and this time I ended up as one of the casualties.
I lost all of my memories, everything that made me the person I was back then, and became a stranger inside my own home, uncomfortable with everyone from my father to my boyfriend.
I thought Wyatt's arrival was the lifeline I'd been looking for, but I had no idea just how dangerous his secrets were.
My name is Jessica Engel and this is my story.

Here I am at the end of the last current book in this series; it will take patience to wait for the next! This one was a mindblower all around. In it, more of the history of the packs is revealed; Jess, who previously was not emphasized a great deal, becomes the focus of the story, but more than just her personal growth is involved. There is action in this book, but the tempo slows in order for the reader to digest all that is involved. At the same time, it's compelling and the pages fly as Murray ratchets up the tension. (I'm trying hard here to not give spoilers.). The writing is great, as usual, but what stands out is Murray's ability to see and present the many sides of a dilemma, the different choices of dealing with it, and the possible outcomes of the different choices. Added to that is his marvelous ability to give his characters dialogue that remains true to the personalities he gave them previously. On top of that, the reader is introduced to new people. They have a great effect on what occurs, but in a surprising way. This was compelling, written well, and was a superior read!Product details

Left Reflections Volume 12 eBook Dean Murray Reviews
Awesome book. Love the series
I love this series because of excellent character development. Across the series the first person perspective changes so there's no chance to get bored with the characters.
Have read every book in this and connected series. Now if we could just have some kind of closure or conclusion. I hate being left hanging!!!!!
Since Jess/Jessica lost her memory she has been a huge pain. I was so annoyed with the way she treated her father like a stranger and refused to make any kind of a connection with him. So much so I wanted to slap her! But as her story unfolded in this book she began to grow and accept the people she left behind. I truly love how she and the other original members of the Sanctuary Pack are growing as individuals as well all a unit!
Up until now Jess has always been a background character, but now we get to see her struggle with who she is, without her memory. She finds a strength in herself and finds what she really wanted all along.
Every book gets better! Dean has created an awesome world that I cant get enough of. Heres to hoping the next books come SOON
Poor Jess, Jessica, she endures one trauma after another after another!!! No matter how you feel about her from the other books, it's heart wrenching to see her battered by one storm after another. And there's Oblivion....I've wondered several times in the course of the books....just what is he up to. An adventure just as interesting and full of action as all the others. Highly recommended. The ending??? sucks ostrich eggs. Can't wait for the next one.
